As early as I can remember I had a sweet tooth for the book, the pen and a captivated audience. My parents delightfully fostered a love for reading, acting and public speaking by exposing me to a rich tapestry of arts including classic stories, and fables of long ago pasts to brilliant modern day authors and poets. Theater and musicals from the ever enchanting Nut Cracker Suite and West Side Story to The Whiz and Raisin In The Sun. I fell in love with public speaking as the Lorax in my first school play in a timeless Dr. Seuss classic at Indianola Alternative Elementary School (on Ohio State University's campus). As a youth the arts were known to ignite my creativity and imaginative faculties. And over time I poured myself into projects at The Columbus School of Art & Design and Advanced Art classes at Bexley Highschool while finding time to bury myself in a myriad of timeless works by Shakespeare and Angelou or Hurston and Hill, Goddard and Scovel Shinn or Silverstein and Blavatsky which made me trip and fall fall in love with linguistics. The fine art of narration and vocal arts involve the harmonious balance of accuracy and pronunciation, correctly placed pauses, character accents, appropriate inflection and various tones according to the subject matter and of course professional sound quality.
